Paid competitive hourly wage. The 2023 hourly rate is $25.50 for graduate students.
Housing with own room and shared bathroom (gender-inclusive suite style). If we are to switch to a virtual program, in lieu of housing, participants will receive a living stipend for their participation.
Travel funding to/from Boulder (from student's home university)

Description:

This is a paid student intern position. Located in Boulder, Colorado, the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR) and National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) serve and participate in a collaborative community of researchers and educators who are dedicated to understanding the atmosphere and the complex processes that make up the Earth system, from the ocean floor to the Sun’s core. The goal of the Summer Internships in Parallel Computational Sciences program is to make a long-term, positive impact on the quality and diversity of the people who will use, operate, and support 21st century supercomputers.
