Description:
The Clinician Scientist Development Grant (CSDG) fosters the development of clinicians to clinician scientists. Clinician scientists are investigators licensed to provide patient care and trained to conduct research. They pursue research questions across the cancer research continuum of relevance to improving health. The CSDG provides support for protected time to allow junior faculty who see patients to be mentored and participate in research training to aid their development as independent clinician scientists.
