Description:
Biomedical areas of interest for this funding opportunity include, but are not limited to:
a. Real-time diagnostics of biomarkers for wearable applications through optical/ electrochemical/electrical/magnetic sensing modalities
b. Miniature ultrasound systems for continuous monitoring of human physiology at clinical and at-home settings
This program is well-suited to support the endeavors of those faculty with biomedical and bioengineering backgrounds and project interests, although there is no limitation for faculty affiliations. Activities that are not eligible for support through this mechanism include consulting, dissertation completion, research/analysis pertaining to the operation of UT Dallas, and curriculum development.
